Another cracking selection of 12 Top Beers from 12 Top NZ Craft Breweries this month. Only the best-tasting, fresh NZ craft beers make it into the Judges’ Selection. Each month our BJCP Beer Judges select 12 of NZ’s finest beers from up to 12 NZ craft breweries to create a beer festival in a box.
What’s in the box?
8 Wired – Mandarin Mahu (Lager, 4.5%)
A bright, citrusy lager that basically tastes like summer in a bottle.
DNA Brewing – Pinball (WC IPA, 6.5%)
Dry hopped with a lineup of brewing gods: Chinook, Zeus, Altus, Apollo, and Bravo.
McLeod’s – Sunset (Witbier, 4.9%)
Smooth and spicy, like golden hour in a glass. The twist: hand-zested local Seville & Naval oranges.
North End Brewing – The Bitter Sea (Bitter, 4.7%)
A classic British bitter that pairs great with existential dread or fish and chips.
B. Effect – Alpine Ale (Unfiltered Pale Ale, 4.4%)

Rocky Knob – Undies (Session IPA, 2.5%)
Low ABV, high hop satisfaction. Don’t let the name fool you – this beer is fully dressed in flavour.
Garage Project – El Yacaré Yerba Mate & Lime (Herb Beer, 5.6%)
