Description
What’s in the box?
EPIC – Hop Serpent IPA
Hop Federation – Fresh Hop Pilsner
Clean, snappy, and fresh as a spring breeze. Crisp malt backbone meets just enough green hop zing to keep things interesting.
DNA Brewing – Holmdale Farm Pale Ale
Sunshine – Sunstrike Bright Pale Ale
Tropical fruit and hop oils upfront, then that subtle ANZAC biscuit malt shows up like the friend who brings dip and good chat.
Behemoth – Cheech & Chong Hazy IPA
Green, hazy, floral — imagine a hazy that got caught in a bouquet and liked it. Dank and fresh with a juicy edge.
8 Wired – Ripe’n’Ready Bright IPA
Very clean, dry, and deceptively simple. Stripped back in the best way. The beer equivalent of a fresh white tee and a good haircut.
Hallertau – Fresh Hop Bitter
A cool, left-field move — not many go for a Bitter in fresh hop season, but it works. Balanced, herbal, and sneakily moreish.
Sprig & Fern
Grapefruit right up front, surprisingly dry on the finish. Punchy up top, restrained down low — like a fruit salad that suddenly went serious.
Sunshine Brewery – Sunrise Series 08 Hazy Pale Ale (5.0% ABV):
Brewed as part of Sunshine’s experimental series, this hazy is filled to the brim with Citra and Cryo Mosaic hops. Expect waves of citrus fruits and floral hop flavours.
Laughing Bones – From the Cradle West Coast IPA (6.2% ABV):
Mountain IPAs are the magical place where East meets West, juicy meets crisp. From The Cradle features hops from our Aussie neighbours and garners its name from Cradle Mountain in Tasmania, one of the leading hop growing regions in Australia. Galaxy and Vic Secret lead the way with citrus and tropical fruit and are backed up by Eclipse to round out the hop profile with background notes of stone fruit and berry, punching up the piney finish with Chinook and Columbus.
North End – Beach Hoist American IPA (6.5% ABV):
This IPA started out as a collaboration with an American brewer, but the recipe has been tweaked to substitute American hops for NZ-grown ones. The result is fruity, and resinous with a smooth malt backbone and a lingering bitter finish.
Sawmill – Apricot Hazy IPA (6.0% ABV):
A showcase of fruity hops (El Dorado, Rakau and Wai-iti) combined withreal apricot, adding a layer of tangy sweetness to an already juicy hazy.
Three Sisters – Geometric Hazy #4 (6.5% ABV):
El Dorado, Galaxy & Motueka hops provide waves of complex tropical fruits and citrus.
Garage Project – Tutaki Haze (7.0% ABV):
A velvety hazy IPA, brewed with hops grown on the Nelson Lakes farm at the meeting point of the Mātakitaki and Tūtaki rivers. Nelson Sauvin, Motueka and Riwaka bringing flavours of mango, passionfruit and citrus, combined with oats to achieve a smooth texture.
Isthmus – Stratus Hazy IPA (6.5% ABV):
Like the layered wisps of a stratus cloud, this beer is multi-layered. With its hop kick, fruit juice burst, and smooth texture, it will have you walking on air.
Behemoth – Sauvin Slayer Double IPA (8.0% ABV):
A hop bomb featuring Nelson Sauvin hops, this beast is all about dank tropical fruit, crushed gooseberries, and a resinous kick. The high ABV gives it a warming finish without overwhelming the palate.
DNA Brewing – White Sands White IPA (6.0% ABV):
A beautiful Belgian and an auspicious American IPA went for a roll in the sand… this is their love child. Catch a wheat beer base with coriander added at dry hop. Unfiltered, like her mother, hops are Citra, Hallertau Blanc, Comet, and Nelson Sauvin. Malts are Vienna and malted what. Think spice, citrus and sauvignon fruit characters.
Hop Federation – Binecraft West Coast IPA (6.8% ABV):
Brewed for The Malthouse’s video-game themed challenge, this WC IPA uses building blocks of Citra, US Cascade and Nectaron.
Te Aro – Aro Hazy Pale Ale (5.5% ABV):
A hazy pale that’s light on bitterness but big on aroma. The hop combo brings out freshness, tropical and stone fruit vibes.
