Waitoa – Limelight – Fresh Hop Hazy
It’s fresh hop season! Time to celebrate the best Aotearoa has to offer. This year we are shining the light on the Motueka Hops from Freestyle Farms in Nelson, bursting with juicy tropical flavours and a dash of zesty lime. Available during harvest only, this is one not to miss.
Martinborough Brewery – Ohio APA
A light crisp American Pale Ale punctuated with juicy citrus and tropical fruit aromas. US hops are the hero and allowed to shine off a light pale malt base. Light amber in colour with a moderate bitter finish.
Heart Of Darkness – Dream Sensations – Hazy Pale Ale
Pale gold in colour. Lush tangerine and mango on the nose. Medium, balanced body. Finishes with big, juicy notes of peach, citrus and a hint of blueberry. Finishes with a tight, pleasant bitterness.
Laughing Bones – Grizzly Porter
Born with a rugged smoothness, this beer stands out like a Grizzly on its hind legs. The lightly burnt malt character that delivers chocolate coffee mocha flavours neatly combines with a bit of grainy, dark malt dryness on the finish. Add to this aging on bourbon barrel wood to further enhance the smoothness and bring faint vanilla aromas, and the rest is magic. So satisfying that it brings a session-ability that is hard to resist. Beware the Grizzly, he may sneak up on you! 6% ABV
Citizen – Pale Ale
Lively with big zesty citrus, tropical fruits + a toasty backbone. 5% ABV
- Crafted with our friends at Sawmill Brewery
- Each can uses fermentable sugars from one slice of rescued bread
- Each brew uses a quarter less malted barley, saving resources and avoiding emissions
- Each brew repurposes 585 plastic bread bags and tags into fenceposts
- Thanks to Goodman Fielder, Foodstuffs and Farro Fresh for their surplus bread
Southpaw – Quick Pitch – Hazy Pale
Quick Pitch Hazy Pale Ale 5.0% is Southpaw’s newest hazy creation. Quick Pitch is designed to be full on flavour but a more sessionable option for hazy-lovers! A classic NZ/US hop mash-up of Waimea, Wakatu and Citra, Quick Pitch has amazing aromas of Citrus, especially lime peel and spicy pine. It has a super refreshing light body, with no lingering bitterness. It is very pale, and super hazy of course, and a delightfully drinkable 5%!
Boneface – The Unit IPA
The unit is our version of NZ Hopped I.P.A. With hints of grapefruit, passion-fruit & spicy citrus, backed up with those hop aromas only found in Aotearoa, it seems a lot for one beer, but it ain’t called The Unit for nothing!
Baylands – Party Pilsner
Party Pils is a stylish New Zealand Pilsner with a clean crisp finish and a name that’s so bad it’s good. Striking a stylish balance between the all Kiwi malts and hops, Party Pils is an easy drinking beer that’s perfect for any occasion. For best results: chill, open, pour and PARTY!
Bach Brewing – Ocean Pacific Hazy IPA
The magnificent Pacific Ocean, Te Moana-nui-a-Kiwa (the great ocean of Kiwa) embraces our remote shores of Aotearoa, giving us bountiful kai moana and our coastal lifestyle. It’s a big part in who we are and how we live. Te oranga o Aotearoa.
Ocean Pacific is brewed with Hororato’s Gladfield malts and hops from both sides of the Pacific Ocean.
Sprig & Fern – Night City Hazy
NightCity Hazy… A utopian pale ale. A melting pot hop sensation. Possessing fantastical aromatics, this is a Sprig + Fern hazy reimagined.
Juicy tropical fruit notes from Idaho 7 hops meet Motueka hops, creating a sensory overwhelm of lemon, lime and dominating citrus.
This fruity, aroma driven hazy peaks with the late addition of Wai-iti hops, bringing freshly squeezed citrus and a heady stonefruit finish.
